Q/Cell analysis device for continually measuring fuel quality
Fuqon is a young company that is launching an innovative product on the petrochemical market. Fuqon’s founder asked us to help develop and realise the Fuqon brand, and corporate and product identity.
Fuel quality needs to be checked constantly. The current method involves taking a sample in-line inside the tank and then testing it in a lab. But Fuqon’s innovative analysis device – the Q/Cell – is located in the pipes to and from the fuel tank. Using infra-red technology, the quality of the fuel in the tank is measured and read real-time. This method saves time and money and is much safer than the current method.
The petrochemical industry must abide by very strict standards. Among other things, devices must be resistant to explosions – that is, they must be ATEX-certified. The guidelines in the ATEX standard were an important starting principle for our designers. Added to this, Fuqon wants to stand out from existing providers in terms of its product appearance and design.
The logo design is based on the shape of a benzene ring, a natural constituent of fuel. With its conspicuous orange corporate colour, Fuqon visibly stands out from existing brands on the market. Our designers have beautifully translated the fresh, eye-catching look into corporate design elements such as formats for presentations, documentation, product sheets and promotion material.
