Prototyping

Prototyping is an important part of all phases of our design process. It gives us insight into the conceptual, aesthetic and technical-functional aspects of the design.

We have a very well-equipped workshop with skilled and highly experienced model makers. Here, we make various types of models: simple foam models and functional models to test working principles, but also visual models and prototypes that are indistinguishable from the final product in terms of appearance and function. Using the model building workshop enhances both the speed and quality of the design process.

We also make use of our 3D printers, which enable us to make a prototype quickly. Every day, we make models to support progress in the design process. They’re ideal for testing working principles, being able to handle parts and also for creating prototypes to carry out interim user research and tests.

We also work with experience prototyping, for example through role play, paper prototyping and interior mock-ups.
