AXA Absolute and Resolute cable and chain locks

npk design and AXA Bike Security have been working together for many years creating a successful range of unique bicycle accessories. After developing AXA Victory ring locks, AXA Foldable locks and the AXA Fit compact chain guard, we are now the design partner for the AXA Absolute and Resolute cable and chain lock series.

The AXA Absolute and Resolute range comprises light cable locks suitable for a child’s bicycle as well as heavy chain locks approved by bicycle insurance companies. The range includes cable and ring locks with combination locks as well as versions with a key. The AXA safety index varies from class 3 to 14.

From a series of individual locks to one product family

Our designers have designed the entire AXA Absolute and Resolute cable and chain lock range. Carefully selected design elements transform the individual locks into one product family with a clear AXA identity. We always start with creative sketching sessions where we explore a huge number of directions. This results in a complete wall full of ideas and sketches from which we select the most suitable directions. We develop these further digitally, ready for presentation to our client. Together with the client we then select the final concept after which the final design is developed.

As we have developed a large number of products, we have now ‘mastered’ the AXA identity. Our designers understand exactly what makes AXA locks stand out in the bicycle segment.
