Good news: we received two GIO Awards plus a Special Award of Excellence
Last week the winners of the GIO Awards competition were announced.
Our design of the bus shelters for the Municipality of Leiden, where we formed a team together with RBL (Reclamebureau Limburg), emerged as the absolute winner.
During a festive award show, in addition to the Good Industrial Design recognition, we received a Special Award for Excellence in the category Design.
The jury report is very positive and describes it as follows: the design agency from Leiden has designed a shelter in which elegance, clean simplicity and timelessness go together. The city symbol of Leiden (a pair of keys) are a beautiful detail which suits the imago of the city.
We see it as a great compliment for our work and for the collaboration between RBL (Reclamebureau Limburg bv), the Municipality of Leiden and the npk design team.
The virtual showcase for our client Merck received an award in the new category Future Design Concepts. Thanks to the team of Merck. We are very grateful for the pleasant cooperation we have.
