Clever cooperation with jewellery brand ZINZI

Zinzi is an international fashion jewellery brand, that has its roots in The Netherlands. All jewellery is designed by in-house Dutch jewellery designers. They have asked us to come up with new closing mechanisms for their designs.

Even though our companies differ substantially, our methods of working are a perfect match. At the first brainstorm and sketching sessions it immediately clicked in a creative sense. Our knowledge and expertise gave the ZINZI designers many new options for designing bracelet, watch- and earring clasps. Concept sketches were the perfect means of communication for the designers of both disciplines.

One of our ideas after the creative session taken up by ZINZI  is a clever mechanism for an interchangeable ring. And again our industrial design working methods fit with the jewellery design seamlessly: from 3D CAD detailing, outsourcing the production of tools up to giving support to the first serial production.

ZINZI proudly introduced the interchangeable ring in the 2018 edition of their Christmas brochure as: Unique Dutch design with ingenious cover at the back of the setting of the ring. The interchangeable ring comes with five different colour stones, that can be pushed out and changed with the enclosed pen. The fact that fashion model Kim Feenstra presents the ring in the brochure makes the result even more beautiful to us.
